Terms of Use

Effective September 12, 2026

By downloading or using Onlink, you agree to these terms.

Use of the app

Onlink is provided as a macOS utility for monitoring internet health, recording connection incidents, reviewing locally stored history, diagnosing network paths, optionally viewing network identity information, and running user-started speed tests.

You may use Onlink only in compliance with applicable laws and the terms of any network or third-party service you access.

Your data

You retain ownership of information stored by Onlink on your Mac. Onlink does not claim ownership of your connection history, incident evidence, preferences, network identity results, speed-test results, or reports you create from them.

For details about local retention and network requests, read the Privacy Policy.

Network measurements and diagnosis

Connectivity status, Reliability Score, likely-cause classification, public-IP/provider details, diagnosis results, and speed-test measurements are diagnostic estimates. Results can vary because of network conditions, hardware, routing, VPNs, captive portals, server availability, and other third-party behavior.

A “Likely cause” is evidence-based guidance, not a guarantee that one component or provider caused an incident. Onlink is a convenience utility and must not be treated as a guaranteed measure of service availability, network security, contractual ISP performance, or fault attribution.

Third-party services

Onlink may connect to services operated by Apple, Cloudflare, IPinfo, and Measurement Lab for the functions described in the Privacy Policy. These services are not operated or controlled by Onlink, and their own terms and privacy practices apply when your Mac connects to them.

Purchases and Pro access

Onlink is distributed through Apple’s Mac App Store. Pro Monthly and Pro Yearly are subscription products, and Pro Lifetime is a non-consumable purchase. Current prices, billing terms, storefront availability, purchase processing, subscription management, refunds, and restore behavior are handled through Apple and StoreKit.

Verified customers whose original production App Store purchase was for an Onlink version earlier than 1.1 retain permanent Pro access under Onlink’s original-purchase policy.

Feature availability may evolve in future versions, but a purchase does not transfer ownership of the app, its source code, trademarks, or other intellectual property.

No warranty

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Onlink is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. The developer does not guarantee that the app, network endpoints, measurements, reports, or third-party services will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the developer is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or other losses arising from use of Onlink, reliance on its measurements or diagnosis, network interruptions, lost connectivity, data loss, third-party services, or decisions made from diagnostic results.

Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above. Continued use of Onlink after an update means you accept the revised terms.
